Our Military Strength Is A Prerequisite To Peace, But Let It Be Clear We Maintain This Strength In The Hope It Will Never Be Used.

I Think It's Time We Ask Ourselves If We Still Know The Freedoms That Were Intended For Us By The Founding Fathers... Whether We Believe In Our Capacity For Self-government Or Whether We Abandon The American Revolution And Confess That A Little Intellectual Elite In A Far-distant Capital Can Plan Our Lives For Us Better Than We Can Plan Them For Ourselves.

If History Teaches Anything, It Teaches Self-delusion In The Face Of Unpleasant Facts Is Folly.

The One Thing Our Founding Fathers Could Not Foresee - They Were Farmers, Professional Men, Businessmen Giving Of Their Time And Effort To An Idea That Became A Country - Was A Nation Governed By Professional Politicians Who Had An Interest In Getting Re-elected. They Probably Envisioned A Fellow Serving A Couple Of Hitches And Then Eagerly Looking Forward To Getting Back To The Farm.
