My Patriotism And My Conscience Required Me To Support It And To Engage In The Debate Over Whether And How To Fight It.

What I Don't Know Is What The Unexpected Might Be.

I Can Tell You That I Think America Is Safer Today Than It Was On 9/11. But That Doesn't Mean That We Don't Have A Long Way To Go.

I Say That The United States Of America Is A Unique Experiment In History. I Believe In American Exceptionalism. I Wasn't For Sending Ground Forces Into Libya. It Would Have Been Counterproductive, But We Are An Inspiration To These People. I Know Because I've Looked Them In The Eyes, And They Looked At Me. They Look To America For Inspiration And Leadership.

If You Talk To These Young Men And Women Who Are Fighting, They'll Tell You That They Think It's A Worthwhile Cause, And They're Fighting For Freedom, And They-well, They-all I'm Saying-the Overwhelming Majority Of Them Do.
