Why Does The U.s. Care

Under The Constitution, There Was Never Meant To Be A Federal Police Force. Even An Fbi Limited Only To Investigations Was Not Accepted Until This Century. Yet Today, Fueled By The Federal Government's Misdirected War On Drugs, Radical Environmentalism, And The Aggressive Behavior Of The Nanny State, We Have Witnessed The Massive Buildup Of A Virtual Army Of Armed Regulators Prowling The States Where They Have No Legal Authority. The Sacrifice Of Individual Responsibility And The Concept Of Local Government By The Majority Of American Citizens Has Permitted The Army Of Bureaucrats To Thrive.

Government Is The Enemy Of Conservatism And Freedom.

The Notion Of A Rigid Separation Between Church And State Has No Basis In Either The Text Of The Constitution Or The Writings Of Our Founding Fathers. On The Contrary, Our Founders’ Political Views Were Strongly Informed By Their Religious Beliefs.

Liberty Is Lost Through Complacency And A Subservient Mindset. When We Accept Or Even Welcome Automobile Checkpoints, Random Searches, Mandatory Identification Cards, And Paramilitary Police In Our Streets, We Have Lost A Vital Part Of Our American Heritage. America Was Born Of Protest, Revolution, And Mistrust Of Government. Subservient Societies Neither Maintain Nor Deserve Freedom For Long.

I Like Mitt Romney As A Person. I Think He's A Dignified Person. But I Have No Common Ground On Economics. He Doesn't Worry About The Federal Reserve. He Doesn't Worry About Foreign Policy. He Doesn't Talk About Civil Liberties, So I Would Have A Hard Time To Expect Him To Ever Invite Me To Campaign With Him.
