It Is True That Going Out On To The Street Implies The Risk Of Accidents Happening, As They Would To Any Ordinary Man Or Woman. But If The Church Stays Wrapped Up In Itself, It Will Age. And If I Had To Choose Between A Wounded Church That Goes Out On To The Streets And A Sick, Withdrawn Church, I Would Definitely Choose The First One.

Francis Of Assisi Tells Us We Should Work To Build Peace. But There Is No True Peace Without Truth! There Cannot Be True Peace If Everyone Is His Own Criterion, If Everyone Can Always Claim Exclusively His Own Rights, Without At The Same Time Caring For The Good Of Others, Of Everyone, On The Basis Of The Nature That Unites Every Human Being On This Earth.

We Become Fully Human When We Become More Than Human, When We Let God Bring Us Beyond Ourselves.

I Wish To Make Add My Voice To The Cry Which Rises Up With Increasing Anguish From Every Part Of The World, From Every People, From The Heart Of Each Person, From The One Great Family Which Is Humanity: It Is The Cry For Peace!
