No More Soul-destroying Doctrine Could Well Be Devised Than The Doctrine That Sinners Can Regenerate Themselves, And Repent And Believe Just When They Please.

The Independent Or Congregational Theory Includes Two Principles; First, That The Governing And Executive Power In The Church Is In The Brotherhood; And Secondly, That The Church Organization Is Complete In Each Worshipping Assembly, Which Is Independent Of Every Other.

A Christian Is One Who Recognizes Jesus As The Christ, The Son Of The Living God, As God Manifested In The Flesh, Loving Us And Dying For Our Redemption; And Who Is So Affected By A Sense Of The Love Of This Incarnate God As To Be Constrained To Make The Will Of Christ The Rule Of His Obedience, And The Glory Of Christ The Great End For Which He Lives.

The Sin Of Adam Did Not Make The Condemnation Of All Men Merely Possible; It Was The Ground Of Their Actual Condemnation. So The Righteousness Of Christ Did Not Make The Salvation Of Men Merely Possible, It Secured The Actual Salvation Of Those For Whom He Wrought.

This Whole Process Of Education Is To Be Religious, And Not Only Religious, But Christian. And As Christianity Is The Only True Religion, And God In Christ The Only True God, The Only Possible Means Of Profitable Education Is The Nurture And Admonition Of The Lord.
