The Chief End Of Missions

You Get One Pass At Life. That’s All. Only One. And The Lasting Measure Of That Life Is Jesus Christ.

The Dismembering Of A Human Being Routinely In 30 Minutes On An Outpatient Bases - Or Any Other Way - Is Barbaric. Four Blocks From Our Church All Year Long - Like Churches Within Smelling Distance Of Auschwitz Or Dachau Or Buchenwald.

Not To Abide In Jesus’ Love Would Mean That We Stop Believing That We Are Loved By Jesus. We Look At Our Circumstances - Perhaps Persecution Or Disease Or Abandonment - And We Conclude That We Are Not Loved By Jesus Anymore. That’s The Opposite Of Abiding In The Love Of Jesus. So Abiding In His Love Means Continuing To Believe, Moment By Moment, That We Are Loved.

Oh That God Would Help Me Waken In You A Single Passion For A Single Great Reality That Would Unleash You, And Set You Free From Small Dreams, And Send You, For The Glory Of Christ, Into All The Spheres Of Secular Life And To All The Peoples Of The Earth.

There Is No Other Way The World Is Going To See The Supreme Glory Of Christ Today, Except That We Break Free From The Disneyland Of America And Begin To Live Lifestyles Of Missionary Sacrifice That Looks To The World Like Our Treasure Is In Heaven And Not On The Earth.
