God Seems To Have A Delightful Way Of Upsetting The Things We Have Calculated On Without Taking Him Into Account. We Get Into Circumstances Which Were Not Chosen By God, And Suddenly We Find We Have Been Calculating Without God; He Has Not Entered In As A Living Factor. The One Thing That Keeps Us From The Possibility Of Worrying Is Bringing God In As The Greatest Factor In All Our Calculations.

The Way To Grow Strong In Christ Is To Become Weak In Yourself.

The Aim Of The Missionary Is To Do God's Will, Not To Be Useful, Not To Win The Heathan; He Is Useful And Does Win The Heathen, But That Is Not His Aim. His Aim Is To Do The Will Of His Lord.

If In Preaching The Gospel You Substitute Your Knowledge Of The Way Of Salvation For Confidence In The Power Of The Gospel, You Hinder People From Getting To Reality.

At Times God Puts Us Through The Discipline Of Darkness To Teach Us To Heed Him. Song Birds Are Taught To Sing In The Dark, And We Are Put Into The Shadow Of God's Hand Until We Learn To Hear Him...watch Where God Puts You Into Darkness, And When You Are There Keep Your Mouth Shut. Are You In The Dark Just Now In Your Circumstances, Or In Your Life With God? Then Remain Quiet...when You Are In The Dark, Listen, And God Will Give You A Very Precious Message For Someone Else When You Get Into The Light.
