Friends, Genuine Friends, Have Much More To Do With Whether We Have A Warm Heart, Not Money Or Power.

My Belief Is That The Various Religious Traditions Have Great Potential To Increase Compassion, The Sense Of Caring For One Another, And The Spirit Of Reconciliation. However, I Believe That A Human Being, Without Religious Faith, Can Be A Very Good Person - Sincere, A Good Heart, Having A Sense Of Concern For Others - Without Belief In A Particular Religious Faith.

Just As We Take For Granted The Need To Acquire Proficiency In The Basic Academic Subjects, I Am Hopeful That A Time Will Come When We Can Take It For Granted That Children Will Learn, As Part Of The Curriculum, The Indispensability Of Inner Values: Love, Compassion, Justice, And Forgiveness.
