If Grace Is To Be

I Wrote This Poem Called “the Calvinist” To Capture A Glimpse Of God’s Sovereign Intersection With The Life Of A Sinful Man. There Is No Part Of Life Where The Greatness Of God Does Not Penetrate Deeply. I Want To Help You Feel That.

When All Your Favorite Preachers Are Gone, And All Their Books Forgotten, You Will Have Your Bible. Master It. Master It!

Avalanches Of Evil Begin With A Single Pebble Of Sin.

Desire That Your Life Count For Something Great! Long For Your Life To Have Eternal Significance. Want This! Don’t Coast Through Life Without A Passion.

God Created Us To Live With A Single Passion: To Joyfully Display His Supreme Excellence In All Spheres Of Life. The Wasted Life Is The Life Without This Passion. God Calls Us To Pray And Think And Dream And Plan And Work, Not To Be Made Much Of, But To Make Much Of Him In Every Part Of Our Lives.
