I Found The Speech, After Listening To It In Context, Vile In Manner, Repugnant, Malicious, Mean-spirited And Spoken In Mockery Of Individuals And People, Which Is Against The Spirit Of Islam. While I Stand By The Truths That He Spoke, I Must Condemn In The Strongest Terms The Manner In Which Those Truths Were Represented.

But When I Reintroduced The Nation Of Islam, And Began To Host Meetings In Cities And Thousands And Thousands Of People Come Out.

I Am Not The Leader; I Am A Representative Of The Leader. The Leader Is The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Whom We Believe Is Very Much Alive, And Is Directing Me From Where He Is.

Now We Have To Think, Not In Terms Of What Is Good For An Individual Or A Segment Of The Population Or An Organization Or A Sect Of Christianity Or Islam Or Judaism, We Have To Think Today Of What Is In The Best Interest Of The Whole Of Our People.

Naturally, When One Makes Progressive Steps, There May Be Some Who See It As A Betrayal Of Their Goals And Interests.
