It Is True That The Vast Majority Of Gun Deaths In America Are Not The Consequence Of The Use Of An 'assault Weapon.' But That Begs The Question Of Whether Assault Weapons Have Any Real Utility Either In Terms Of Any Sporting Or Self Protection Needs.

I Believe At Its Core We Have A Constitution, As Our Supreme Court's First Great Justice, Marshall, Said In 1819, And I Quote, "intended To Endure For The Ages To Come And Consequently To Be Adapted To The Various Crises Of Human Affairs."

Well, I Thought The Deal Was, When You Went To Work For The Government You Weren't Supposed To Make Money!

Presumptuous For Me To Say, But At Least - At A Minimum - I've Been Able To Influence The Direction Of The Democratic Party On Foreign Policy. And I've Been Relatively - Presumptuous To Say - Relatively Successful Legislatively In The Senate, Being Able To Win A Lot Of Republican Friends, And Being Able To Cross The Aisle.
