He's An Innocent In A Lot Of Ways. He's A Very Simple Person Who Really Doesn't Have The Resources Or The Strength, Ultimately, To Handle The Situation.

I Come From A Visual Background, And I Grew Up Around A Lot Of Hippies And Artists. My Mom And My Brother And I Moved Around A Lot. We Basically Moved Every Couple Of Years, And I Went To A Lot Of Different Schools. But Creativity, For Us, Was Always A Way Of Life. It Was Never A Job. Being An Artist Was A Passion And A Way Of Life.

Alessandro [michele] Has Really Done The Impossible. He's Taken This Classic Brand [gucci] And Really Turned It Completely Around And Taken It In A Direction That Was So Unexpected. [alessandro And I] Met And Became Friends Here In L.a., And Then We Got To Know Each Other And He Asked Me To Do This. It Was Really Organic And Not The Way This Stuff Normally Happens.
