It's So Archaic. It's Just, Like, Bizarre To Me. I Feel Like In 10 Or 15 Years' Time Our Children Are Going To Look Back And Say, 'what? You Were Around When Gay People Weren't Allowed To Get Married?'

You Really Hope That People Who Want To Be Politically Active Aren't So Disillusioned At This Point. I Do Feel Positive About What's Happening. I Think That With All Of These Movements, And This Growing Collective Voice That's Emerging, People Are Starting To Come Out Of The Kind Of Dazed State That They Were In For So Many Years. But It's Tough To Know The Best Way To Effect Change Now. Campaigning Alone No Longer Seems To Be The Answer.

I Love To Sing. I Don't Think It's Strange For Singers To Act, Or Painters To Sculpt. I Don't Want To Ever Feel Like I'm Cornered Into One Expression Of Creativity Because I'm Successful At Making Films Or Being An Actor. I Guess It's Best To Not Paint Yourself Into That Corner.

Being A Movie Star Is A Quality That Somebody Sort Of Embodies, And Being A Celebrity Is Something That People Give To You. It Has To Do With Being Recognizable, As Opposed To Something That People Recognize In You. I Just Hope To Make Good Movies. I Know That Sounds Simple, But It's True.
