The Critical Question For Our Generation—and For Every Generation— Is This: If You Could Have Heaven, With No Sickness, And With All The Friends You Ever Had On Earth, And All The Food You Ever Liked, And All The Leisure Activities You Ever Enjoyed, And All The Natural Beauties You Ever Saw, All The Physical Pleasures You Ever Tasted, And No Human Conflict Or Any Natural Disasters, Could You Be Satisfied With Heaven, If Christ Were Not There?

When You Are Deeply Peaceful And Confident That, Because Of Christ, God Will Bring You Safely To His Eternal Kingdom And Be The All-satisfying Treasure Of Your Life Forever, Then You Are Free To See The Truth, And Love The Truth, And Speak The Truth No Matter What, And Joyfully Spread A Passion For The Truth Whose Name Is Jesus.

Sin Is What You Do When Your Heart Is Not Satisfied With God. No One Sins Out Of Duty. We Sin Because It Holds Out Some Promise Of Happiness. That Promise Enslaves Us Until We Believe That God Is More To Be Desired Than Life Itself (psalm 63:3). Which Means That The Power Of Sin's Promise Is Broken By The Power Of God's.

Sanctification Is A Community Project.

Humility Is Beyond Our Reach. If It Were A Product Of Reaching, We Would Instinctively Be Proud Of Reaching It. It Is A Gift.
