The Democrats Have Got To Open The Door To Young People. Welcome Them In And Understand That It Will Be Messy, That Many Young People Are Not Professional Politicians. The Democratic Party Is Going To Have To Adjust Itself To Their Reality, Rather Than Force Young People To Be Adjusted To The Democratic Leadership's Reality.

To My Mind, If We Do Not Get A Handle On Money In Politics And The Degree To Which Big Money Controls The Political Process In This Country, Nobody Is Going To Bring About The Changes That Is Needed In This Country For The Middle Class And Working Families.

Of Course The Republicans Have Long Wanted To Privatize Social Security And Destroy It. But Social Security Has Been The Most Important And Valuable Social Program In The History Of The United States.

Because Of A Mass Media More Interested In Gossip And Sensationalism Than Real Issues, I Would Say A Vast Majority Of The American Public Doesn't Have A Clue About How The Congress Functions And What Goes On.
