Words Are Like Leaves; And

Genius Involves Both Envy And Calumny.

Genius Creates, And Taste Preserves.

Of Manners Gentle, Of Affections Mild; In Wit A Man; Simplicity, A Child.

Who Sees With Equal Eye, As God Of All, A Hero Perish Or A Sparrow Fall, Atoms Or Systems Into Ruin Hurl'd, And Now A Bubble Burst, And Now A World.

A God Without Dominion, Providence, And Final Causes, Is Nothing Else But Fate And Nature.
