Our Natural Virtues Can Never

The Passion Of Christianity Comes From Deliberately Signing Away My Own Rights And Becoming A Bondservant Of Jesus Christ. Until I Do That, I Will Not Begin To Be A Saint.

If We Are In Christ The Whole Basis Of Our Goings Is God, Not Conceptions Of God, Not Ideas Of God, But God Himself. We Do Not Need Any More Ideas About God, The World Is Full Of Ideas About God, They Are All Worthless, Because The Ideas Of God In Anyone’s Head Are Of No More Use Than Our Own Ideas. What We Need Is A Real God, Not More Ideas About Him.

God Gives Us The Vision, Then He Takes Us Down To The Valley To Batter Us Into The Shape Of The Vision, And It Is In The Valley That So Many Of Us Faint And Give Way. Every Vision Will Be Made Real If We Will Have Patience. Think Of The Enormous Leisure Of God! He Is Never In A Hurry.

Sin Is Blatant Mutiny Against God, And Either Sin Or God Must Die In My Life.

We Are In Danger Of Being Stern Where God Is Tender, And Of Being Tender Where God Is Stern.
